Broker notes - this is the first Maxi 999 we have dealt with and this Swedish built yacht is impressive! - extremely well equipped and maintained by a knowledgeable owner for nearly 20 years, she exudes quality.
Cockpit is spacious, well laid out and most running rigging leads conveniently aft to either side of companionway, with an efficient deck layout, Lewmar hatches in good shape, also Lewmar 40ST primary winches.
The trusty Volvo 2003 has saildrive (diaphragm replaced 2013) and regularly maintained.
Topsides grp is excellent, hull bottom Coppercoated in 2010.
Sails are well selected and standing rig replaced in 2017, with new Furlex 200s - self-tailing jib is interesting and works well.
Interior has quality fittings with construction and design detail providing attraction and comfortable saloon.
Well designed galley and chart table instruments laid out carefully, all contribute to a quality yacht.
We are really pleased to have been asked to deal with this sale for the owner (who has just purchased a Starlight 35 through our brokerage) and our desire is to find a buyer, who also falls for this much loved Maxi.

Owner notes - we have owned Sgian Dubh for over 18 years, She is an excellent performance cruiser and we have always felt comfortable and safe in her.
She has been winterised every year and spent at least 4 months ob the hard. Engine and gearbox have been serviced every year irrespective of use and the propeller has been removed, dismantled and greased.
I believe her to be in good condition for her age and only selling as purchased a larger boat.
