Broker Notes
Maggie May is one of the best of the Starlight 39s ever built and in terms of specification and level of equipment we consider that she rates with the top three Starlight 39s we have ever sold through our brokerage.

The present owners purchased through Lucas Yachting in 2003 and have bestowed loving care and attention on this yacht with a high level of maintenance and generous provision of new equipment.

From new, Maggie May has had the advantage of careful cruising and pride of ownership throughout her charmed life and is a credit also to her previous owners.

Fitted out with a comprehensive spec for extended cruising and with the reassurance of the Starlight 39 design and build quality, we have complete confidence in presenting Maggie May as the best you can buy!

Owner Notes
Maggie May is in excellent condition throughout. She has been hauled out every year since purchased by us in 2003 (she was winterised prior to our ownership under cover in Scotland). Every year we remove all running rigging and replace it with “winter” rigging. Sails, all deck and mast hardware (jib cars/blocks etc) are also removed along with depth/sound/wind and engine instruments. The cockpit and the hatches are fitted with winter covers.

The Standing rigging has been inspected for wear in both 2011 and 2015 (reports can been seen).

All the sails are in good condition and well maintained. They are stored in a heated shed for the winter period together with the items mentioned above and all the interior cushions.

Cockpit teak was replaced in 2007 and is now beginning to show a bit of wear.
