We have been busy in the yard working on a 29′ Delphia (built in Spain) and preparing her for delivery by road to Chatham.
Launch from Dartside Quay, Galmpton (opposite Dittisham) went without a hitch and boat was ready to go, with her freshly polished topsides and new antifoul glistening in the sunshine, Delphia looking very small in the 65-ton travel hoist!
The River dart was at its most beautiful, and powered by the well-behaved Volvo D120, Suzie and I soon completed the delivery, past Stoke Gabriel and Duncannon (where Ian Proctor lived in his retirement), to finally lift out at Baltic Wharf Boatyard in Totnes.
Next job is to lift to Andy’s transport (being Southwest Boat Transport) for final delivery to Chatham for the new owner
